GAMES DAY #6
Join us for a day of board and card games with other local fans of table-top board games. Bring something you’d like to play or just turn up and join in!
Principally, our intention is to provide a fun, safe and inclusive environment to play together. The objective of the day is simple, to meet up with other people who share our interest and hobby – and play games. Take the opportunity to try out new games and experience playing outside of your regular gaming habits and hopefully introduce a new players to our absorbing and enjoyable hobby.
In conjunction with Northants Board & Card Gamers Collective, Manascrew will be hosting this event, with a few of your questions answered (hopefully!) below:
How much does it cost to come to the event?
The cost to stay and play for the day is £4 per head. The fee covers the cost of running the venue. We will also have a raffle with game or geeky related prizes, but this is optional of course. Manascrew will have items for sale in the shop and we plan to have a preloved games sale table.
What do I need to bring?
The main thing is yourself, friends and family who might like to get involved. If you have a game or two you’d like to play – with some other people then bring those too, we want as many people as possible to get their games to the table.
How about something to eat or drink?
Manascrew have a fully stocked tuck shop with snacks and drinks. You are also just a stone’s throw away from Northampton town centre with lots of cafes and fast food choices.
Can I bring children?
You are of course welcome, as we’d love to encourage a new generation of gamers! Please remember if you do bring children that you must remain with them at all times including time spent playing games. Please be aware that some game content (such as that found in horror themed games) may not be suitable for younger children or contain adult themes. Check before you play please!
Manascrew and the Northants Board & Card Gamers Collective want to ensure everyone enjoys their time gaming together and we shouldn’t need to tell you how to behave. Be respectful to each other and of course please keep bad language to yourself. We will not tolerate bad sportsmanship, abuse or harassment towards anyone.
